Currently exciting opportunities exist for three full-time experienced Website Design Specialists. Our clients are located globally and are seeking professional and dedicated virtual team members.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Design and construct web pages for client enterprise level ecommerce websites including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques appropriate for multi-channel communications
- Create and present graphic sketches, designs and copy layouts for online content
- Provide and maintain ongoing visual design of client website, promotions and branding banners, season content and etc.
- Create compelling and consistent visuals, code markup languages, implement changing or dynamic content, test and document web applications with awareness of best practices throughout various points of development and facilitate change requests.
- Using enterprise-level content management systems and proprietary application tools within an ecommerce lifecycle
- Relying heavily on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals within evolving web methodologies
Minimum Qualifications:
- As clients are located globally you MUST be fluent in written and spoken English
- Available to work a variable schedule based on client needs
- University Degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Communications or equivalent preferred, or successful experience of equal level in the field
- Minimum of 2-5 years experience in front end web development or web architecture utilizing user-centric design models, implementing changing or dynamic content, testing and documenting web applications with awareness of best practices throughout various points of development and facilitate change requests
- Minimum 2+ years experience using Macromedia Platforms (including Dreamweaver) and Adobe Platforms (including Photoshop)
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibilities
- Current working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, XHTML, DHTML, AJAX, XML or similar technologies
- Experience with consumer-focused transactional websites, gaming, surveys and Interactive banner advertising with FLASH is a PLUS
- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills. Able to handle multiple priorities, set priorities, and meet deadlines
